Though an Indian man may have owned many horses he usually had a favorite. This horse would be an extension of himself and often would be painted the same as the warrior for battle. The young warrior in the rear had his favorite horse stolen by a neighboring tribe and led his friends on a raiding party to steal it back. As they cross the river, the warriors give their victory yells to let their camp know they are returning with their friend's favorite horse!
Now I go to seek my horses! So here I stand and look about me!
So here I stand and look about me! Now I go to seek my horses!
